Job Description

•Salary up to £28,000 per annum.•Hybrid working.•Structured progression path.We are working with a leading accountancy firm based in London, recruiting a proactive, detail-oriented, and organised Payroll Assistant to join their payroll team. As a key function within my client’s business, this role offers payroll services to a wide rangeof new and existing customers. This role is perfect for those who are early in their payroll career or those who are looking to begin their career in payroll.What youll be doing

  • Assist with a full range of payroll duties including;•Processing of starters and leavers•Preparing payroll to be paid by BACS•Issuing payslips and payroll summaries•Opening and closing PAYE schemes
  • Generating RTI submissions to HMRC
  • Assisting with end-of-year processing and reconciliations including issuing P60s
  • Building your own client portfolio over a period based on the knowledge you gain working with the team; You will be expected to provide advice and support to clients on their payroll queries and requirements.
