Job Description

More about the role: Patient Support Assistant

  • Preparehotandcold meals,
  • Lay out food and counter display so they look attractive & inviting
  • Ensure all food is stored safely and at the correct legal temperatures.
  • Serveall customers in a polite and friendly manner
  • Use of tills and cash handling.
  • To maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of thekitchen andrestaurantto promote a safe working environment.
Who you are:
  • Passionate about the safety ofpatients, visitors and healthcare staff,with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Understanding of a range of routine work procedures and protocols
  • Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
  • Able to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.
  • Confident working in a hospital environment and aware at times you willcome in contact withpatients that are particularly unwell or showing signs of distress.
  • Computer literate
What youll be doing: Were currently recruiting a dedicated Patient Support Asst to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Healthcare on a full time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week.As a Patient Support Asst, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work.
