Job Description

Job title: Part time L&D AdvisorContract type: InterimHours: 22.5 hours a week, spread the hours how you wishWorking pattern: Hybrid, 1 day from the officePay: £21.00 - £24.73 + holiday payLocation: A short walk from Stratford stationAre you a passionate about working with children and families from socioeconomically challenged backgroundDo you believe that all children deserve the right to good educationWorking as part of a wider HR team you will report to the Head of People and Culture implementing a comprehensive Learning and Development function across the organisation whilst implementing a culture of continues learning.Your day to day duties working as the Learning and Development Manager will include;

  • Identifying the charities on going learning and development needs and priorities
  • Work closely with senior management and the CEO to identify training needs
  • Create an annual training calendar that includes a variety of training needs in line with the charities strategies
  • Carry out research on training providers to build a string pool of providers
  • Support with the set up induction training for new starters
  • Managing training materials
  • Maintaining an accurate training record of attendees and organising refresher/follow up training
The skills that you will bring to your role as Learning & Development Advisor will include;
  • Experience of devising and managing training programme
  • Experience of assessing, designing, and facilitating training programmes
  • Strong communications and organisational skills
  • Strong understanding identifying impactful training programmes
  • Experience of creating a strong and continues learning culture
