This is a part time, permanent teaching vacancy for an ICT and Computer Science Teacher who can make a significant contribution to this strong and successful department. This post will probably involve teaching over two/three days per week, by arrangement.The ability to be flexible about part time working will be a recommendation.Entry to the school is very competitive and pupils are selected via entrance examinations and interview at 11+ or Sixth Form. Girls achieve exceptionally good results in examinations at GCSE and A Level, and progress to some of the best universities in theUK, as well as to top global institutions such as those in the US. the school offers a plethora of co-curricular activities; more than seventy clubs and societies are available every week: before school, at lunchtimes and after school. You will be proficient in programming Python to at least GCSE standard but you should be flexible enough to deliver general programming constructs in a language neutral environment.ICT and Computer Science are an integral part of the curriculum at KS3.
