I am recruiting a fantastic vacancy for a Part Time to join a modern art gallery based in Central London. This is a unique job which provides the opportunity for the right candidate to join a passionate and committed team and be part of their ongoing success.Salary up to 35K pro rataPermanent Part-time opportunityHours and days of work 10am-6pm - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week.Location: Central London - very close to a number of train and tube stations.Responsibilities:Maintain artist payment records and debtor reports using XeroCollate sales information and prepare budget reports as required to include art fairs and gallery exhibitions.Manage general overhead costs and payment records including annual review of costs and related contracts.Managing cash flow of multi-currency accounts.Prepare and submit VAT returns.Manage and control credit card and petty cash expenditure.Ensure stock records are up to date.Liase with Finance Consultant in the preparation of all information required by the Gallerys accountants.Insurance - coordinate annual review and general requirements.To keep up to date with all legal issues relating to the gallery,Manage payroll, PAYE, and pension requirements. (The payroll function is provided by an external bureau)The successful candidate will have good all round Accounts experience, ideally be an AAT studier, have knowledge of Xero accounting along with high levels of attention to detail.
