Job Description

Job Title: Part 2 Architectural AssistantJob Location: London We are currently seeking a highly motivated and creative Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our growing team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the team in the design and development of architecturalprojects, from concept through to completion.Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team in the development of design concepts, drawings, and specifications for architectural projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of planning applications, building regulations, and construction drawings
  • Conduct site visits and assist in the coordination of contractors and other professionals involved in the project
  • Use 2D and 3D computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Autodesk Maya to create detailed design drawings and models
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments in architectural design, construction, and technology
Requirements:
  • Architecture MArch (ARB/RIBA Part 2)
  • Currently enrolled or completed a Part 2 Architectural Assistant course
  • Experience working in an architectural practice, including experience with RIBA stages 0-7
  • Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit
  • Strong design and technical skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Experience with submitting planning applications, preparing drawings and documents, and liaising with local authorities
