Job Description

I am delighted to be working with a historic and prestigious not for profit organisation based in London, close to Regents Park. Due to parental leave, they require a highly experienced and professional executive level PA to join the organisation on a fixedterm basis.The Role:This busy PA role requires insightful prioritisation and re-prioritisation, problem-solving, negotiation and diplomatic communication with internal and external stakeholders. Integrity and confidentiality are essential. The PA will often need to re-prioritise,liaise with others, and solve problems whilst the Executive Director and executive team are off site and are unable to provide immediate direction or advice.The Person:Essential experienced required:

  • The availability to start at short notice
  • Exceptional knowledge and practice of MS Office applications: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience of committee management including the drafting of agendas, the preparing of papers and accurate minute taking during meetings
  • Excellent time management and task prioritisation skills
  • Exceptional people skills: friendly and personable demeanour
  • Outstanding organisational skills: able to manage complex and changing portfolios, prioritise and re-prioritise as needs arise and proactively follow-up to ensure work is sustained / completed satisfactorily
  • The ability to work flexibly, rapidly and independently
Desirable experience required:
  • Experience in providing corporate support
  • Experience of coordinating the running and delivery of projects
  • An understanding of corporate governance
  • Experience of working in a charity or membership organisation
