* Social Media Officer for a well known charity* Part time role for six months* 10am - 4pm / 4 days per week / six months assignmentMy client is a huge and well known not for profit community based orgaisation wth central London based HQ and huge national presence. They are looking for a SOcial Media Officer to join the urgently for six months. This is a part time role working 10am - 4pm,four days per week. YOu can work at home for 2 out of 4 days. The office is based in central London The purpose of the role is to manage the social media presence of a high profile individual and their team. The role also includes basic press and comms work. Duties will include* Day-to-day running of social media channels, including drafting posts and ensuring appropriate level of sign off, working with other teams to produce content on particular topics, and managing publishing and scheduling.* Work with colleagues to ensure digital participation in campaigns, festivals and other events.* Produce monthly reports on social media channels and share key insights with colleagues* Co-ordinating social media campaigns for the wider organisation* Updating, monitoring and maintenance of the website* Providing digital support for events and roadshows* Monitoring social media channels during working hours to ensure comments, complaints and queries are dealt with appropriately and in good time, identifying issues that need response or escalation.* Identifying social media opportunities (such as campaigns, social trends, awareness days)* Planning, curating, and scheduling daily content for social media channels, ensuring a broad, high quality mix of tailored content that meets the organisations goals* Writing clear, simple and concise copy for websites.About you!* You will have considerable amount of social media and copywriting experience.* Be able to demonstrate your knowledge of who youre writing for, and on behalf of, i.e somebody with a very high profile role and position in society * Very good creation, i.e. graphics, videos etc, and someone who has experience of working with high profile people* Excellent writing, copy-editing and proofreading skills - ability to write clearly without mistakes. * Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and other industry standard tools, particularly digital channel management software such as content management systems (CMSs), social networks, evaluation and analytics tools. * Experience of working as a social media officer or equivalent role. * Experience running digital and social campaigns. * Experience of social media community management. * Track record of taking projects, ideas and initiatives from concept through to delivery. * Awareness of social media trends and clear understanding of the role of social media within digital marketing and communications.
