We are seeking high-calibre candidates for an exciting, new full-time role within the charity. We are appointing an Oxbridge Programme Manager to support potential Oxbridge candidates across the IntoUniversity network. You will take the lead on expanding and developing our existing Oxbridge support package for students from Year 10 upwards, including: working with centres to identify potential Oxbridge candidates; designing, organising and running a range of events to support our young people; leading on the development of academic and aspirational workshops; facilitating webinars; and organising residential visits for young people considering an application to Oxbridge. As Oxbridge Programme Manager you will keep up to date with developments in the application process to both Cambridge and Oxford and be the charitys Oxbridge expert. You will develop high-quality resources to be used across our network of centres and provide staff with training on all things Oxbridge, as well as supporting students directly with every stage of their application journey. You will also support offer holders to make the transition to Oxford or Cambridge, providing pastoral support as well as helping them develop the academic study skills to enable them to thrive in a university environment. In addition, you will develop an academic mentoring scheme for students applying to Oxbridge including recruiting and training university student volunteers and ensuring the mentoring relationships flourish.You will have experience of working with young people including supporting young people with their applications to university. This role will be fast-paced, and challenging. It will involve creating and managing multiple projects and working with staff across our expanding network to ensure that students applying to Oxbridge have the support and guidance that they need throughout the process from an early stage in their educational journey.As a charity with social mobility as its core objective, IntoUniversity is wholly committed to equality of opportunity.
