Job Description

Details of roleWe require someone with extensive knowledge and experience with the Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) software suite to upgrade our Business Intelligence EE implementation to Oracle Analytics server, re-architecting it into a secure cloud-based environment.You must be able to:

  • Design and implement the hardware solution for the OAS software stack.
  • Design and script a path to move existing BI content into the new environment.
  • Implement agreed security requirements against the middleware components.
  • Plan and conduct testing of the migrated BI content, including management of user testing.
  • Understand, plan and implement the steps required to upgrade from OBIEE to OAS software.
  • Perform issue/bug fixes encountered during the upgrade.
  • Produce a plan for this work, including resource and time for tasks.
  • Agree and coordinate any work needed from technical, business, and any other areas.
  • Report on progress against plan, also risks and issues.
    • Essential:
  • Proven experience (3+ years) Oracle working with Oracle BI software and Oracle Fusion Middleware
  • Experience of hardening Oracle software within a secure environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for communication with customers & team members.
  • Active DV clearance
    • Desirable:
  • Experience with Oracle Database including Exadata.
  • Previous experience of working in an agile environment.
  • Oracle BI Certified Implementation Specialist professional accreditation.
