THE COMPANYBritannia Global Markets is a dynamic, fast-growing organisation that operates a full-service execution and clearing brokerage business covering Exchange Traded Derivatives, Cash Equities and Fixed Income, CFDs and Foreign Exchange.Britannia Global Markets is part of the Britannia Financial Group https:// and a member of the London Metals exchange, London Stock Exchange, Dubai Gold and Commodity Exchange, and Singapore Exchange.ROLE DESCRIPTIONSupporting a fast-growing FX team in all operational duties post trade execution, carrying out the day-to-day operational tasks as well as presenting ideas and solutions to streamline and refine current procedures for new and existing products. The candidateshould have a good knowledge of the FX and bullion products with an awareness of CFD Indices as a bonus.The primary responsibility of the FX operations Analyst will be to maintain and complete the day-to-day operational functions for all FX related business You will be responsible for monitoring the complete life cycle of the trade, from trade capture to tradeSettlement as well as reconciling daily cash and positions and resolving any breaks.Key responsibilities

1. Trade capture, processing, and settlements

• Ensure that all trades executed are captured in the spectrum back-office system
• Maintaining the FIX mappings in the system to avoid trade breaks
• Capturing all Agency trades daily and processing into back-office system
• Ensuring all voice trades executed by the desk are matched and booked.
• Daily positions rolled on behalf of principle clients via the desk
• Residual settlements balances converted and reflected in the system accordingly
• Daily NDF fixing trades processed
• Cash settlements confirmation between PB and internal systems
• Cash movements and fund requirement updates sent to treasury to facilitate settlements

1. Reconciliations

• Reconciling daily Cash between various PBs and internal accounts
• Positions and Trade reconciliations done daily
• Breaks identified investigated and resolved in a timely manner
• Creating escalation reports to management on all breaks with relevant auditable commentary

1. FX Project integration

• Backoffice system support and build out for new products and existing.
• Specing out new processes and flows for current and new business
• Onboarding of new products and establishing complete life cycle from execution to settlement
• integration of current FX systems into new technology being implanted within the company

Ad-hoc Responsibilities

• Regular review and update of procedures completed to reflect changes in internal processes and market regulations
• Regular liaison with the Front Office teams so team are aware of new business developments/requirements
• Participation into departmental projects relating to new products and systems
• Ability to analyse requirements and adapt processes accordingly

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREDTechnical Knowledge

• 2-3 Years experience in a similar environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Fantastic attention to detail with the ability to keep many plates spinning at once
• Confidence to both work autonomously and within a friendly and collaborative team
• Manage manual tasks in the role and investigate to improve/automate
• Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
