Strode Theatre is a part of Strode College in Street, near Glastonbury, in Somerset. It is equipped as both theatre and cinema, incorporating two venues. The main Theatre has 343 seats and a proscenium arch stage. The Studio has 64 seats in a retractable unit and is used for film screenings and for classes and rehearsals.We promote a mixed programme of live professional and amateur events on stage (Live on Stage), mainstream and arthouse films as well as live and recorded transmissions of opera, ballet and theatre (Live on Screen). The foyer is home to changing exhibitions of work by local and regional artistsThe theatre is looking to appoint an Operations Manager, responsible for casual front of house, box office staff and volunteer teams, managing the smooth operation of the Theatre Café-Bar.
