Job Description

Role: Operations Coordinator -12 month Maternity CoverLocation: London/Harlow (This is a hybrid role)Learner at the heartPearson is a global education company that helps people around the world to make progress in their lives through learning. This will enable us to make a lasting impact in helping to solve someof the most important challenges in global education.Purpose of this PositionThe Operations Coordinator works closely with our Partnership Operations Managers and Partnership Operations Coordinators who are the main point of contact to Pearsons University Partners on academic and on-going student retention. This role will providecentral administrative support to the Partnership Operations Team and focus on core activities which secure revenue and on-going student retention for the team like module enrolments and census. This role will also be responsible for liaising with our partnersand student success customer facing team to resolve individual issues raised by students. This role sits within the Partnership Operations team and will have a strong foothold in partnership operations projects working with the Partnership Operations Managersand Project Managers to help scope out and deliver partner facing projects.General Responsibilities

  • Be the first line of contact for partnership Communications and Issues Trackers coordinating with SSAs to collect relevant information relating to the issue escalating to Operations Coordinator where appropriate.
  • Liaise with central function teams within the partner and faculties to resolve individual queries ensuring these are closed in a timely manner.
  • Assist Partnership Operations Coordinator in partner projects and priorities as needed.
  • Undertake module enrolments process for partnership using Salesforce.
  • Error checking module enrolments and liaising with Student Success Advisors and partner to correct these issues.
  • Liaise with advisers to secure chosen elective choices from students are recorded accurately.
  • Support Partnership Operations Coordinator in running census report, error checking and reconciling.
  • Running, manipulating and sharing reports with partner confirming student and module information.
  • Billing reports (updating and quality checking the data as part of this too)
  • End of Module Surveyscreating the survey, circulating and sending reminders and reports.
  • Updating Salesforce from Progression Reports.
  • Run finance reports for relevant partnership weekly and then daily in week running up to deadline plus error checking and upload to SF. Respond to individual requests from students for payment confirmation.
  • Run additional details report as required for each partnership.
  • Upload data from shared trackers for Leeds partnership to Salesforce.
Essential skills & knowledge:
  • Previous experience of Higher Education Administration or Student Services work experience
  • Knowledge of university processes and regulations is desirable
  • Proven track record working with Salesforce or other relevant CRM.
  • Proven track record of working with reports and analysing data.
  • Great attention to detail, excellent organisational & project management skills.
  • Someone who builds excellent working relationships with cross functional teams internally (HoP, SOM, SSMs, PMs and Advisors.)
  • Builds great relationships with external stakeholders and can resolve issues.
  • Diplomatic communicator.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to assess priority issues within the comms tracker and know when to probe for more detail.
  • Ability to raise priority issues with the relevant department/faculties and respond to priority queries from Partner department/faculties
  • Work effectively in a very fast paced changing environment
  • Ability to analyse trends coming from the trackers to feed into wider pieces of change
  • The ability to multi-task, and work well under pressure with tight timelines
