Operations Associate, LondonABOUT: My client is on a mission to be the definitive zero-carbon lighting brand. Founded in 2015, the company is headquartered in East London and operates three global warehouses in Atlanta, Amsterdam, and London.They combine design, technology, and sustainability principles to create exceptional lighting products. The business works with category-leading design partners in contract and retail channels with a rapidly growing eCommerce channel. Our sights are seton scaling up, which means expanding our international community, product portfolio and team.ROLE: We are seeking a forward-thinking Operations Associate with initiative and drive. The candidate will liaise with distributors, retail partners, and end-users to ensure products are delivered accurately and on time.You will be working alongside our Operations Manager and the wider team to create a formidable logistics platform that can scale at a global level, as well as provide excellent customer service to our direct-to-consumer channels. This is an exciting rolefor an enterprising individual who would like to grow their career.RESPONSIBILITIES - Being the first point of contact for all Customers- Answering phones, emails, and customer service tickets through Zendesk- Supporting self-service of customers by contributing to knowledge base and FAQs- Supporting operations and logistics for regional outbound of all customer orders- Ensuring orders arrive on time and in full to the customer- Oversee all facets of order management from order creation through to aftercare- Maintain strong day to day relations with our third-party logistics teams- Contributing to team projects that impact the wider business- Advocate customer needs internallyREQUIRED: - 1 or more years in a similar role- Familiarity with ticketing (Zendesk) or order management (NetSuite) systems- Excellent customer service skills- Great time management and prioritisation- Enthusiastic self-starter, energised by challenges and drawn towards opportunities- Ambition to learn skills and improve business knowledge- Comfortable raising issues and collaborating on possible solutions within the teamDESIRABLE: - A natural eye for photography and set styling- Confident with cameras and technical equipment, plus video editing software- A good network of industry contactsWHAT TO EXPECT: - Competitive Salary- Career progression within a high growth start-up- 25 days annual leave plus public holidays- 1-day wellness leave- Opportunity to learn from experienced team members across departments- Access to beautiful office space and showroom- Regular team gatherings and socials (Covid Guidelines Permitting)- Flexible office/work from home schedule- Welcome gift and generous product discountsSALARY: Up to 29K (depending on experience)
