Job Description

A boutique, wealth management firm based in London have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Assistant to work along side the Head of Operations and Investment Management team.The role will require you to play a pivotal part in supporting the Head of Operations across the business, helping to improve the daily operations of the firm. You will also work alongside the investment manages to provide comprehensive support.This position would suit someone with at least 2 years experience within Operations/Investment Management, advanced Excel skills (Macros, pivot tables etc) that is keen to persue a long-term career within Investment Management that supports developmentand career progression.Responsibilities.

  • Completion of Investment Management operational procedures, including 10% drop procedure, CGT reporting, monthly performance analysis, deviation report analysis, and Corporate Action administration.
  • Liaison with our Trading Partner on Investment Management related issues working closing with the Financial Planning team to efficiently resolve client queries.
  • Oversight of our bespoke Client Reporting system including daily and weekly uploads of data, ongoing data management. Member of development team to build additional functionality.
  • Organisation of report downloading (CTV, ERI, quarterly valuation reports) from our Trading Partner and the efficient production of these to clients. Longer term consideration of efficiencies to this procedure.
  • Assisting in the annual review of standard industry compliance reports such as Best Execution, Research policy and Execution Venue report.
  • Operations Team member - reporting, discussing and helping to resolve Investment Management operational issues.
  • Assisting Head of Operations with Board meeting reporting and ongoing projects such as reviewing efficiencies within the company and assisting to bring along new technology.
  • Assisting the marketing department with operational requirements.
  • Using a range of software including Outlook, Word, Excel, IRESS, PowerPoint
