The successful candidate for the Operations Analyst role will be able to show active experience of Fund Operations and either prior experience of securities trading or directly-related experience of this role. Experience in programming languages will be viewed favourably also.Client DetailsThe financial services client based in the City of London is a boutique fund management business, specialising in European smaller companies, with an excellent track record since launch in 1999.DescriptionThe main duties for the Operations Analyst are:Maintaining the clients internal order management systemPlacing and executing equity trades generated by the Fund Managers in global markets, plus a limited number of orders in other asset classesMonitoring instructions given to sell-side brokers and ensuring best executionMonitoring news flow and price moves on portfolioArranging and monitoring stock loans for short positionsMaintaining internal records on all aspects of dealingProfileRequirements for the Operations Analyst are: DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOUVE HADEXPOSURE WITH CFDS AND EQUITIES!
