Job Description

Job Opportunity: Operational Risk OfficerAbout the company: Join an up and coming bank as it innovates the industry, where unity, accountability, and continuous improvement drive excellence. Were seeking an operational risk specialist to contribute to our purpose-led organisation.Responsibilities:Enterprise Risk Management:

  • Manage Xactium, our risk system.
  • Report regularly to Executive and Board Risk Committees.
  • Conduct controls testing and oversee stress testing.
  • Manage the risk event process.
Compliance and Operational Risk Reviews:
  • Support Compliance Monitoring plan and reviews.
  • Establish and oversee an RCSA challenge process.
Other:
  • Support the CRO in maintaining the risk management framework.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years in risk management.
  • Understanding of risk frameworks and regulatory expectations.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Competencies:
  • Leadership: Operate with a commercial focus and execute with excellence.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and report risks, ensuring compliance.
  • Information Management: Align reporting and data with regulatory expectations.
  • Systems & Controls: Support operational systems and controls.
