Job Description

  • Responsible for the capture and management of the risk events escalation and reporting process throughout the Group. To ensure that appropriate trends/ Ml are reported to the Deputy CRO and appropriate management committees.
  • Responsibility for the management of the Groups process for root cause analysis of risk events and ensuring that appropriate trends/ Ml are reported to the Deputy CRO and appropriate management committees
  • Development, implementation and oversight of the effective embedding of the Groups Operational Risk Policy.
  • Development, implementation and oversight of the effective embedding of the Groups stress testing and scenario analysis in relation to operational risk as part of the Groups ICAAP.
  • Management of the RCSA process and provide oversight of the output. Ensure that appropriate trends/ Ml are reported to the Deputy CRO and appropriate management committees
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Groups reputation for the effective and efficient management of operational risk, which is recognised as such both externally and internally.
  • Contribute towards the minimisation of the Groups exposure to operational risk and limit any associated exposures within the Groups operational risk appetite.
  • Ensuring that an effective training and support framework in relation to operational risk management is established and maintained throughout the Group.
  • Ensuring that the business is kept abreast of all developing operational risk management legislation and regulation; conduct gap analysis and impact assessments against all publications and make appropriate recommendations to the CRO, ERG and RACCC.
  • Ensuring that effective risk management systems and technology are established and maintained throughout the Group to ensure effective and efficient operational risk management.
  • Maintenance of the Groups Operational Risk Policy to ensure that it aligns to changes in regulatory/ legislative requirements and guidance.
