Operational Risk Analyst - Risk Associate

Job Description

We are working with a fantastic wholesale corporate bank who are looking for an Operational Risk Analyst to fill a 12-month FTC. We are looking for someone who will be able to support the operational risk team with the Bank’s Operational Risk profile, focusingon incident management, controls, business continuity and operational resilience.Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the implementation, development, and maintenance of the bank’s approach to operational risk
  • Work closely with the Control Office to ensure consistency of approach in the Risk and Control Self-Assessment process
  • Prepare content for engagement with teams across the bank on a range of topics relating to operational risk
  • Preparation of periodic operational risk reports to the Bank’s management and committees
  • Undertake operational risk projects as required, including research, analysis and the preparation of internal procedures
  • Provide training and support as required in the Bank’s operational risk management framework
Requirements include:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled in use of Microsoft 365 products, Word, Power Point and Excel essential.
  • Able to prepare and deliver accurate management information on a regular and ad hoc basis
  • Operational risk management experience beneficial
