We have been approached to help build the expanding audit & risk team of an award-winning multi-billion turnover private services business, on an exclusive basis. The company has over 10,000 employees, is present in over 30 countries globally and has beencommended independently as a great place to work multiple times.The current mandate we have is to recruit an Operational Internal Auditor, based in central London (3 days per week, the other two working from home). Travel will all be international (to 30 countries globally), 25% of the time.Reporting to the Director of Audit and Risk, the primary part of this role is to identify operational and business risks within the company and evaluate the adequacy of controls in place in order to minimise and mitigate those risks, whilst prioritisingtheir importance.In this hands-on role, youll be responsible for helping the Director establish department procedures and ways of working as we continue to build the function. You will also be responsible for undertaking site/office-based reviews (including everything fromprocurement, HR, IT, to project planning & variations, and even potential frauds) to identify risks and ensure that they are effectively managed.This would be an ideal and exciting opportunity for a person with some internal audit or risk advisory experience, from any industry, who is looking to progress further in their profession, whilst providing independent assurance and adding real value tothe business.
