Job Description

UNDERSTANDING, SERVICE, TRUST 3 Words that Guarantee Results in RecruitmentOnsite AV Support Technician London salary up to £38,000A leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally.Our immediate requirement is for an experienced Onsite AV Support Technician to be a key part of our London team, working onsite at a leading British multinational telecommunications company, taking full responsibility for covering day-to-day setup and first-linesupport of audio-visual and video-conferencing facilities and events.

  • Daily switch on/off of the Videowall and Digital Signage at the front of the building at times specified by the client
  • Weekly functionality checks of all meeting rooms
  • Setup for meetings and video conferences including testing of calls, microphones and presentation materials
  • Meeting support as requested and specified by the client
  • Ad-hoc support of all AV equipment
  • Cover first-line support and maintenance where faults develop on meeting room and video conferencing systems. Escalate to second-line Helpdesk support when required
  • Undertake planned, routine preventative maintenance checks to cover a full test of the system, logging any faults
  • Provide local support for the setup of audio-visual equipment for larger events within the building. This can include setup and configuration of local facilities and support of third party setup
Desirable skills
  • Understanding and knowledge of digital mixing desk, handheld and lapel mic set up and operation, Crestron control systems and Cisco Webex systems.
  • Have excellent communication, time management, presentation and organizational skills
  • Be enthusiastic and self-motivated
  • Be able to establish productive relationships with people at all levels
  • Ability to use own initiative appropriately
  • Customer focused and strong ability to deal with individuals on all levels in a friendly, welcoming and helpful manner.
