Job Description

Office Manager, Permanent role, Advertising Agency to £30k.Our client, a renowned and influential independent ad agency, are looking for an office manager, a key central role in the organisation that could suit a senior receptionist looking to make their next move.Main duties of the Office Manager role are:

  • Support colleagues with administrative and ad hoc research tasks as required
  • Oversee contractors and workmen to repair/maintain office
  • Ensure Environmental Management System is adhered to
  • Manage Ad Net Zero reporting
  • General tasks inc. key management, ordering taxis, managing contacts and suppliers, etc
  • Develop in-house administrative processes
  • Greet all visitors at reception and keep reception area looking tidy and welcoming
  • Create written documents for running reception, supplier contact lists, various audits, etc.
  • Set up rooms with teas and coffees as needed
  • Co-manage intern who will also be based on reception
  • Responsible for liaising with contractors, inc arranging of one off cleaning projects (e.g. floor-buffing & window cleaning)
  • Liaise with office suppliers, taxies and couriers to ensure competitive pricing and smooth running of contracts
  • Help with ideas and research for venues, attend meetings regarding staff/ agency social events & work with organisers to successfully produce events
  • Holder of a corporate credit card and all ad hoc office costs plus some job related
