Job Description

Office Administrator£25,000 - £28,000 per annumCentral LondonOur client is a busy PR agency, looking for a strong Office Administrator to join their lovely and lively team.They are looking for someone friendly, smart and reliable - a safe pair of hands to oversee the smooth running of the office.This is a great opportunity to progress in your Office Management career and receive training and support, within a warm, buzzy and friendly working environment.OfficeManagement/Health & Safety:

  • Responsible for running and maintaining the office
  • Responsible for opening and closing the office Monday - Friday
  • Office receptionist, answering main office number
  • Managing post, postage and deliveries
  • Booking couriers and taxis
  • Manage office security and risks
  • Manage office rules and ensure employees are aware of them
  • Maintaining safe office conditions to a high standard - Always making sure we are compliant with HSWA so that systems in the office are safe, there is no risk to employee health and the necessary information, instruction, and training is provided to allemployees
  • Instigate regular office tidy ups and keeping office tidy
  • Creating and reviewing the company Health and safety policy annually
  • Managing and giving health and safety advice
  • Office First Aider (training provided in required)
  • Fire Warden (training provided if required)
  • To ensure there is always the necessary office equipment required and to purchase
  • Arranging/Completing office layout changes, including IT cabling
  • Office DIY/Repairs and maintenance - either doing or arranging an external person
  • Constantly being aware of office morale
  • Placing supermarket order
  • Placing stationery order
  • Managing printers
IT:
  • Manage IT internally along with our IT contact agency.
  • Set up new employee work stations and phones, email addresses etc
  • Manage and purchase IT capital needed
  • Apple contact and account management
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
  • Liaise with external suppliers on needs/issues
  • Ensure that standard templates for out-of-office/auto-signatures are being used
Requirements
  • Must have recent and strong administrative skills
  • Previously worked within a PR or Creative agency preferred
  • Looking to develop your career to Office Management level
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, hard working and always thinking of the next task to complete
  • Ideally available on a short notice period for a November start
  • Must have excellent communication and written skills
  • Good IT knowledge of full MS Office suite - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Not afraid to get your hands dirty and jump into any task required
