Job Description

Part time Nursery assistantAre you a Nursery Assistant / Nursery Nurse looking for flexible work in SouthwarkTempest Education are working with a Childrens Centre in Bermondsey that are requiring Nursery Assistants to work with them on both daily and long-term basis, starting ASAP, shifts potentially running until the end of the academic year.These positions are to help the centre cover any staff shortages to ensure their children are cared for and supported. The children are ages 3-5 years old. The working hours are 8.45am-3.00pmThis can be a great way for you to work flexible days around other commitments you may have, or to gain a longer-term position and expand your experience working within Nurseries and schools.What do you need to be successful in this role

  • A relevant Level 2 / 3 qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous experience working with wit children in a Nursery or Primary school setting
  • Be a creative individual who loves working with young children
  • Proactive and confident in your abilities to advance childrens learning through play
  • A bubbly personality
  • Good communication skills and able to work well in a team
