Job Description

New Business / Bids Coordinator - Prestigious Architects - London / Hybrid Working - up to £35k (DoE)We are on the hunt for a highly organised, meticulous yet creative, New Business / Bids Coordinator, with demonstrable experience of writing bids and proposals in the architecture sector,to join a prestigious, international architects based in the City of London.The New Business Coordinator will work with the New Business team and partners to help secure new opportunities and projects. The role will have a core focus on the production of bids, proposals and presentations, with scope to grow intoa wider variety of responsibilities.Were looking for someone with relevant experience, a calm and professional manner, excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills and proficiency in a range of software including Adobe InDesign and MS Office. Fluency in English (written and spoken)is required, a second language would be beneficial.Key responsibilities as the New Business Coordinator will include:

  • Supporting the team in identifying, appraising and responding to new project enquiries and opportunities
  • Writing, copying, collating and designing high-quality, engaging bid documentation for tender responses (EOI, PQQ, RFQ and RFP) and presentation pitches - coordinating requirements with internal and external stakeholders
  • Reviewing submissions for compliance, quality and consistency
  • Maintaining a library of written responses, case studies and relevant information to support the production of bids
  • Logging and maintaining CRM records for new project opportunities and generating weekly reports
  • Undertaking research projects
  • Attending external meetings, industry forums and events
What were looking for:
  • 2 years+ experience of writing bids and proposals for leading architecture practices
  • Highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) - a second language would be advantageous
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior managers and external clients
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Proficiency using a range of software including Adobe InDesign and MS Office
  • Skilled in designing and preparing graphic layouts
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Keen interest in architecture and design
