Job Description

Network EngineerAnzo Group is looking for a Network Engineer to join our IT team in London. Reporting to the Head of Corporate IT, you will be an integral part of designing, building and improving new and existing IT network and services for the business. Working alongside other technology groups you will be comfortable collaborating and influencing others, ensuring good industry practice followed. Automation and self-service will be a key focus for this role with the aim of reducing repetitive tasks as much as possible.Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain and monitor network systems including switches, routers, firewall, intrusion detection systems.
  • Expert level troubleshooting of any problems relating to global network issues.
  • Security focused. Ensuring IT new systems and services are designed for ease of use while keeping our users and intellectual property safe.
  • Automate where possible, whether it be through scripts or solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop innovative solutions that provide the functionality required by the business and are available, reliable, performant and scalable.
  • Be a mentor and point of escalation to other team members.
  • Writing technical documents, including but not limited to designs, procedures, runbooks.
  • Some requirements to participate in and perform out of office hour incident response, maintenance or updates as required.
  • Monitoring and ensuring high performance and availability of IT infrastructure.
    • Competencies and Experience:
  • CCNP certified.
  • 5 years IT experience with on-going skills development.
  • Networking, switching, firewalls, WiFi, site-to-site and user VPN. (Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco, Pulse Secure).
  • Strong experience with networking protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VRRP, HSRP, VPN, IPSEC, VoIP, and QoS.
  • Knowledge of VoIP, QoS and multicasting.
  • Experience with hybrid or solely cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience implementing Automation using scripting, both Powershell and BASH.
  • Familiarity with containerised environments including, Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift.
  • Experience in Linux, Windows Systems Engineering.
  • Experience with identity management: Active Directory, Okta, Onelogin, SAML.
  • Excellent understanding of IT Security.
