Application Developer The Network team is interested in adding an application developer to our team. Your goal is to be one of the contributors to the global network team and assist with the transformation to an automated network environment. This is atremendous opportunity to join a global organization and participate in the development of the next generation network automation architecture. Ideal candidates will have well-rounded knowledge of programming languages, cloud automation, python, ansible andbasic networking. Essential Job Functions Knowledge of source code management systems, version control tools and developing web services Work with other developers to design and implement features in support of established security and acceptance criteriaInterface with the core network engineering team, and devops teams as necessary, to develop and grow network automation practice Conduct research, testing, and evaluations on network automation solutions Collaborate with the other engineers through code reviews,pair programming, and interactive design sessions Work within an iterative software development lifecycle, following Agile development processes, while following well-defined operation procedures and restrictions Basic Qualifications BS/BA in a relevant field(Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science) 5-10 years of relevant work experience Experience working in a dev-ops environment Proficient in Python, Javascript, and HTML Asynchronous programming development experience Cluster/cloud infrastructure managementexperience Distributed & Fault tolerant system design Microservices architecture system design Experience with Red Hat Ansible and YAML Experience using Restful APIs to integrate various technologies Basic familiarity with network devices, load balancers andfirewalls Solid experience with of web data formats including JSON and XML Excellent analytical, presentation and communication skills, as well as possessing a strong work ethic
