Job description:Description of the Business Line or Department The GBSU/EQD/AFC team provide developmentand technical support for Post Trading Processing for the MARK/EQD/PSC/CLR perimeter within Societe Generale GBIS. Summary of the key purposes of the role * Technical Analysis, Configuration and Testing relating to the Murex MX.3 platform to provide new capabilitiesto support the OTC Client Clearing business within MARK/EQD/PSC/CLR. * Provision of Level 3 Technical Support for the Murex MX.3 platform and associated system interfaces (BBG/Markit/CCP Market Data/ Product mapping configuration). * Assistance and adviceto end users in relation to use of the Murex platform. Responsible for the day-to-day management of Product (Rates/FX/Credits) Testing. Summary of responsibilities Role Specific Responsibilities: Responsibility for Providing Technical Risk Analysis, Testingand Level 3 Support for Murex MX.3.Ensure appropriate system configuration to provide accurate Valuations, IM Calculation, Risk Simulations and Reconciliations within the system. Work closely with the Business Line, Operations and Risk Teams to ensure thatthe Murex platform is appropriately configured in order that it is operating as required. Ensure alignment between the platform, CCPs and 3rd Party Market Data Providers. Assist in the investigation and resolution of any breaks. Understand new requirementsand translate to a Murex technical Risk solution. Assist in implementing software solutions around Murex MX.3 and other associated tools/interfaces. All such development to be in accordance with agreed SPRINT prioritisation meeting requirements. Responsibilityfor assisting with the testing and deployment of software releases into production. Provide Level 3 Support as may be required including some out of hours. To be available by mobile phone using SG hosted corporate email and telephony services to assist inthe resolution of any urgent escalated incidents. Profile description:Competencies Technical Skills Languages / Tools: SQL Database :Oracle Enterprise (preferred) Operating Systems : Linux Middleware Tools (preferred) Unix Shell Scripting (in particular Bash) Prepare Functional Specifications, Design Documents & UAT Test Cases (preferred) Debugging / Unit and Integration Testing (preferred)Product Skills / Knowledge (preferred) Murex MX.3 Core Modules and System Architecture / Configuration Murex MxML Exchange Development : Workflow design and data transformation Murex Reporting and Batch Processing Development Murex e-Tradepad configurationMurex Market data feeds configuration (e.g. BSMT, BBG, Markit , MDRS, MDIT) Murex Limit Controller (MLC) Murex Risk Aggregator (MRA,MRB) Murex MReports Murex Pricing Configuration Industry Skills (preferred) Financial Markets, OTC Cleared Products (IRD, FX,CDS) & Trade Life Cycles / CCP Messaging Knowledge of Financial Reporting / Risk Management Bloomberg Data License Personal Skills Excellent Numeracy Skills Self-starter Eager to learn new technologies and business skills and become subject matter expert.Ownership and Team Player Accountable, business driven WORK EXPERIENCE Experience working in a financial institution. Experience with Murex MX.3 (preferred) Experience with OTC Client Clearing (preferred) EDUCATION A Level / BTS or equivalent. Degree (Mathematicsor Computer Science preferred). LANGUAGES English
