Multi-disciplined Biomedical Scientist Band 7 - London

The Role:

Looking for an experienced, highly motivated, and enthusiastic candidate to join and help lead a newly launched multi-disciplinary blood science laboratory at a senior level (equivalent to Band 7).
You will report directly to the Laboratory Manager
Manage and coordinate the day to day technical activities of the team
Process biomedical specimens
Analyse and interpret results
Be responsible for standard and quality of results and service
Sample management (Manage the accession, processing, and storage of samples)
Sample analysis (Manage the testing, validation, and quality improvement of the analysis process)
Report management (Manage the generation and validation of reports and how data is managed)
Laboratory management (Ensure SOPs are followed, manage clinical and health and safety training)
Analyser management (Manage the QC/Calibration, setup, operation of analysers)
Quality assurance (Manage Internal QA, External QA, General QC & compliance)
Inventory management (Manage maintenance of consumables and reagents stock)
Staff management (Manage team, arrange team meetings, performance management)
