Refuge is the countrys largest single provider of specialist domestic abuse services, we are proud to be a leader in our field and an employer of choice, with excellent systems for supervision, quality management and development.For this role, you will need to be a strong communicator who gets on well with others and someone who understands the importance of good customer service. You must also have a good attention to detail, be reliable and highly organised. Youll be supportingaround 400 users over 60 remote sites.You must be diligent and ensure a timely response to requests. You will ensure calls are logged and escalated where resolutions cannot be found.You will have strong technical skills and will assist the IT systems engineer in managing and maintaining the servers when required. You will also maintain accounts for all users using Active Directory Administration, Azure AD and Microsoft 365 Exchange.You will support with the imaging of laptops and general maintenance of equipment and will provide support in the removal of virus/spyware/adware.You should also be well verse in communication equipment such as phone and audio visual.Ideally, you will possess good mentoring skills as you be required to assist with the ongoing development and training of the 1st Line support workers. You will be a team player who will contribute to the wider continuous improvement of the Service Desk.Identifying opportunities for improvements in efficiencies, communication and problem resolution.Person Specification Experience, Knowledge & QualificationsA good working knowledge of Microsoft 365/AzureITIL CertifiedWorking experience in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Exchange Online and Azure IAAS, Windows Server 2019, Jira Service desk, Palo Alto -firewalls, Global Protect VPN, Cortex XDR, HP Servers and SANsWorking experience Datto backups, Azure IAAS, Mobile Iron MDM, Security certificates, Aruba -switching and wireless.Excellent written and verba lcommunication and interpersonal skills,with the ability to adapt at dealing with people and to build positive working relationships at all levels.Closing Date: 09.00 am on Thursday 27th October 2022Interview Date: Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 November 2022A Standard Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) certificate will be required for this role.
