This is a permanent, full-time role for an experienced Motorcycle Technician or a Motorbike Mechanic with areal passion for all things 2 wheels’.This privately owned, reputable motorbike vehicle maintenance company have been established for over 20 years and are now looking for a Motorbike Technician to take on this varied and interesting position in motorbike maintenance and repairs.ROLE: MOTORCYCLE TECHNICIAN LOCATION: Greater London. Based from the company’s motorbike workshop, near to The Oval Cricket Ground in Kennington, South East London.SALARY: £25,000 - £30,000 plus benefits, pension, onsite parking, flexible approach to working hours, ongoing training, development of skill base plus industry perks.HOURS: Full Time 40 hours per week. Flexi-time including Saturdays.Reporting to the workshop manager, working as part of a small, friendly, close-knit team of 4 mechanics, you will be motivated by offering a great customer service. This is a warm and friendly environment where you can use your own initiative and experience to carry out MOT repairs to motorcycles; carrying out general tyre fitting, servicing to fork seals / brake pads, calliper rebuilds.It would be advantageous if you had an NVQ/ City & Guilds Level 2 in motorcycle maintenance, but the most important things are your all-round knowledge and practical skills within the motorbike vehicle industry. A Motorcycle licence is required.You will be experienced in Motorcycle Maintenance, confident in all aspects of motorbike repairs, able to work accurately and safely, you will take real pride in the quality of your work, still maintain the energy to work at a fast pace to ensure works are completed on time and to the required standards.Your background is likely to be in Motorcycle Mechanics.
