Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Administrator for our client, a highly reputable boutique wealth planner, asset manager and employee benefits specialist. They are a multiple award-winning company, accredited for standards and professionalism, whooffer exceptional knowledgeable advice, ensuring the clients best interests is managed with successfully outcomes as standard practice. You will join an existing team of administrators directly reporting to the Mortgage Director. Youll be expected to bein the office 1-2 days per week where you will experience a friendly and vibrant environment.Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Submitting and processing of new business applications and general administration for mortgage, protection and equity release business
  • Liaise with product providers to ensure all applications are received and completed
  • Produce suitability letters for the Mortgage Advisor
  • Enter new cases on Intelligent Office and keeping mortgage data up to date
  • Maintain the mortgage departments resource library
  • Ensure electronic client files are organized, updated, easily accessible and compliant
  • Ensure Intelligent Office system application tracking and monitoring processes is kept up to date
  • Adhere to FCA and Company compliance and regulatory procedures at all times
  • Follow Anti-Money Laundering Procedures and comply with GDPR requirements
Experience and QualificationsThe successful candidate will:
  • Have been in a similar role for at least 2 years, ideally working within a mortgage broker
  • Have good general knowledge of life and mortgage related products and legislation
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the provision of advice to clients in a compliant manner and an understanding of record keeping requirements
  • Ideally, be familiar with the systems and software used such as; Intelligent Office, Volume, Mortgage Brain and IRESS (training will be given)
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages (computer literacy is a pre-requisite for this role)
  • Be a confident communicator and demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively with others, delivering a consistently high level of service to clients
  • Mortgage qualifications are preferred but not essential
The right personYou will have a natural ability to build strong and proactive working relationship, developing a good rapport with the Mortgage Consultants and their clients, assisting the Mortgage Consultants and their clients in a positive professional and proactive manner.Must have exceptional organization skills, the ability to priorities and manage workloads in a timely manager, displaying an exceptional level of attention to detail
  • Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Works well under pressure and uses their own initiative
  • Has the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and new challenges
Location: A minimum of 1-2 days in our London Office.Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, office hours 9am to 5.30pm. It may be necessary to occasionally work outside of normal office hours in order to meet the demands of clients and pressing deadlines.Salary: Dependent on experience but expected to be in the region of £28-32k. Full benefits are also available, together with a discretionary bonus scheme.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per yearBenefits:
