Job Description

MODEL RISK MANAGERUP TO £80,000 + COMPETITIVE BENEFITSREMOTE WITHIN THE UKA growing financial services brand is looking for a Model Risk Manager to join their brand-new regulatory modelling team. If youre passionate about maintaining, monitoring, and building models, look no further than this excellent opportunity.THE COMPANY:As a Model Risk Manager, you will be working in a flexible and fun environment, managing a team of extremely strong credit risk modellers. You will be given the scope to develop your team to your needs so it can perform to the best of its ability for thisexciting lending arm.THE ROLE:As a Model Risk Manager, you can expect to be involved in the following

  • Work on statistical, pricing and PD models
  • Build monitoring packs that highlight the performance of models
  • Provide technical modelling guidance to other areas of the business
  • Use machine learning techniques to develop and improve the companys processes
  • Understand the companys core models and business values
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:The successful Model Risk Manager will have the following skills and experience:
  • Experience in building IRB/IFRS9 or any regulatory models
  • Excellent credit risk background
  • Experience working on scorecards and statistical models
  • Strong using SQL, SAS, Python or R
  • Good communication skills
