Job Description

Leading Ecommerce client now requires a Mobile QA Engineer with strong Automation Test experience to deliver against their IT roadmap and strategy. This role revolves around testing/quality assurance in relation to our clients major Ecommerce mobile application which experiences some of the highest traffic across Europe. This is a tremendous opportunity for an individual who has excellent knowledge in Mobile testing, Quality Assurance and building automation Scripts from scratch to become an integral part of one of the worlds leading ecommerce brands. The role:

  • Working in a fast-paced agile environment implementing automation scripts into an evolving regression pack.
  • Testing mobile apps across devices using real devices and simulators/ emulators over cloud
  • creating mobile testing automation tools like Appium, cucumber in java or JavaScript.
  • Reporting issues as they are found and providing developers with detailed information
  • Providing clear and concise test status report to the stakeholders on a daily basis.
What you will need:
  • Excellent Mobile QA experience (within the Ecommerce/Travel Sector is desirable)
  • Strong testing experience iOS and Android apps
  • Experience testing high-volume websites, mobile sites, and mobile apps.
  • Strong Webdriver.io and Appium experience.
  • Experience writing automation scripts/frameworks in either JavaScript or Cucumber
  • Experience surrounding React. Native would be desirable.
This is a 12-month contract role which provides a daily rate of £500 p/d (outside of IR35).In terms of office location, this role is based in Kings Cross (Central London) with 1-2 days per week in office and the rest remote.
