This is a permanent role in London with an excellent starting salary and benefits. Our client is a medium-sized enterprise known for providingoutstanding design and build solutions for commercial customers. This role will be based within the Maintenance division which provides planned preventative maintenance services in mechanical,electrical and public health areas for commercial customers occupying ‘office type’ buildings in the Greater London area with a 24/7 emergency call-out facility for contract ed customers guaranteeing a 4 hour response time. The department currently have 8direct employees, 3 office based and 5 multi-skilled mobile engineers and work closely with a number of sub- contract ors to fulfil the contract ual obligations in specialised areas. You will be joining this growing firm at a time where they are aiming forsustainable growth in the next 12 months. This organisation prides themselves on having long standing business relationships both with customers and suppliers and very low staff turnover.Within this Multi Skilled Mobile Engineer (Electrical bias) role in central London you will be required to:
  • Carry out preventative maintenance service visits on Electrical Equipment as per SFG20 specification (e.g: Emergency Lighting, Distribution Boards, LV Switchgear, Control panel, Light Control Management systems, Trace Heating)
  • Supervise subcontractorsto ensure services completed in line with H&S requirements.
  • To complete electronic and in some cases handwritten service reports / records in timely manner
  • Respond to emergency breakdown and call outs in normal hours as well as when on call
  • Be on call to respond to emergency call outs on every six weeks.
  • Report any remedial action required on serviced assets and provide details for repair required.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients, other contractors.
For this Electrical Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer role we are looking for:
  • Qualified with C&G 2382 Level 3 Electrical Installation BS 7671: 2018
  • 18 th Edition
  • C&G 2391-52 Inspection & Testing (Desirable, though not essential)
  • Experience of working within a Mobile Building Services Maintenance role previously
  • Multi skilled maintenance experience covering electrical and mechanical maintenance
  • Mechanical (HVAC) qualification and/or trades background
  • CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training qualification and valid Skill card
  • IT literate - Microsoft operating system and packages
  • Full and valid UK driving licence.
  • Must have clean criminal record.
