Job Description

RoleMid-weight Interior DesignerSalary - £35,000 - £48,000 per annum (dependent on experience)Type - PermanentLocationWest Kensington, LondonMy client is a successful Interior Design and Architecture practice and works within residential and commercial design; looking to take on an experienced Midweight Interior Designer to join their fun, successful and dynamic team on a permanent basis in WestKensington, London. The Mid-weight Interior Designer will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Minimum of 3 years or more of industry experience
  • Experience at a Mid-Weight Designer level with good knowledge of high-end residential projects
  • Excellent knowledge and proficiency with AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite and other 3D modelling packages
  • Excellent knowledge of bespoke cabinetry, bathroom and FF&E finishes, sourcing, specifying, drawing and procurementBe keen to develop as part of a dynamic team long term
The Mid-weight Interior Designer role will involve:
  • Record all meetings in minutes/status report format if necessary
  • Creating visuals in the form of mood and finishes boards
  • Developing initial proposals to include existing and proposed layouts
  • Issue of electrical and all other drawings
  • Being involved in building strong relationships with their clients throughout the creative process.
  • Visiting site to ensure projects are in keeping with design and development
