Job Description

Middle Office Specialist Join a dynamic team as a Middle Office Specialist. In this role, youll ensure accurate trade capture and reconciliation across various asset classes. Heres a glimpse of what youll be handling.

  • Reconciliation of Client Positions:
    • Trade affirmation via middleware platforms and counterparty reconciliations.
    • Matching internal system records with external parties (clearers, custodians, etc.).
    • Detailed understanding of bilaterally traded OTC products and timely resolution of position and trade breaks.
  • Life Cycle Event Management:
    • Handling option expiry processes, corporate events, and credit event processing.
    • Compression and novation processing.
  • Multi Product Processing:
    • Managing various products such as Equities, Rates, FX, Credit, Commodities, and Crypto.
    • Dealing with securities, listed derivatives, and OTC products.
  • Client Onboarding:
    • Onboarding clients, traders, and funds.
    • Supporting static data to facilitate straight-through processing (STP) of trade capture.
  • Process Improvement and Projects:
    • Involvement in new business initiatives and setup of new instruments and products.
    • Implementing process improvements and technology enhancements.
    • Training and maintaining team procedures and policies.
    This role requires close collaboration with trade support, execution traders, and portfolio managers across multiple clients. Youll need to prioritize tasks based on risk profile and communicate effectively with clients. Additionally, youll build strong relationshipswith internal teams like the COO team, Fund Control, and Investor Relations.
