Job Description

Midday Assistant | Summer Term 2024 Start | Full-Time | LeytonReeson Education is eager to recruit motivated and organised Midday Assistants for a rewarding role in Leyton. As a Midday Assistant, you will be integral in supervising children during their lunchtime activities, both in the dining hall and the playground.Role Highlights:

  • Start Date: Summer Term 2024

  • Role: Dynamic and supportive environment for a Midday Assistant.
Responsibilities:
  • As a Midday Assistant, oversee and manage lunchtime activities in the dining hall and playground.
  • Ensure compliance with the schools safeguarding and behaviour policies as a Midday Assistant.
  • Collaborate effectively with other Midday Assistants and staff to ensure a safe and orderly lunch period for all students.
Requirements:
  • Current childcare qualification minimum NVQ2, with a willingness as a Midday Assistant to pursue further qualifications such as NVQ3.
  • Commitment from the Midday Assistant to undertake essential training, including First Aid, Health and Safety, and additional safeguarding courses.
  • Capability to understand and implement complex school policies effectively as a Midday Assistant.
