This employer is a global AIoT technology leader. Working in the Smart Renewable energy sector partnering with companies and governments to accelerate their digital transformation journey.Youll be working with state-of-the-art technology using one of the worlds largest digital energy AIoT platforms, EnOS. Taking an excel based project specific co-location solar/storage/market optimisation model, re-factor it in a more friendly programming language (Python preferred), improving the models flexibility and usability and prepare it for ingestion into the AIoT platform. This is an international, growth company.Required skills- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience- Experience with Python.- Strong data management and coding skills. - Strong data modelling and optimisation skills- Experience with continuous optimisation problems (e.g. linear programming) and implementing complex algorithms and models- Knowledge on renewable energy field preferable (Solar, Wind, Storage, Microgrids, etc).- Setting up and managing ETL pipelines- Experience working with REST interfaces- Quick learner, team player, pro-active, self-starter with a can-do attitudeThis is a short term project expected to last 6-8 weeks, which may suit a student. Location is flexible due to the current Covid restrictions, however the office is based in London.
