Job Description

Metals Project ManagerContract Role - 6 MonthsUmbrella Day Rate - £650/day to £750/day (inside IR35)Location: London - (3 days a week in the office)Looking for a Metals Project Manager to support a global trading client to deliver Technology solutions across their commodities business.Candidates should have experience of:

  • Proven track record working as a Project Manager in Financial Markets/Trading organisations
  • Manage all elements of the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle Experience)
  • Able to demonstrate a background in software project implementation (using waterfall and iterative/agile methods) within trading environments
  • Significant exposure to the Front-to-Back trade lifecycle, with demonstrable knowledge of OTC/ETD instruments (Over the Counter/Exchange Traded Derivatives)
  • Commodities - Base Metals/Precious Metals Trading life cycle (front to back)
  • Vendor system implementation/changes and working with third party vendors
  • Experience of an ETRM systems such as Openlink
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • Ability to present to a senior audience and challenge where necessary
