Job Description

This is a Merchandising role for someone with experience in driving B2C sales and merchandising plan, ensuring that the right product is available online and in-store at the right time through predicting and monitoring sales trends and accurately controllingstock levels.   • Providing commercial analysis, making strategic recommendations, and highlighting potential risks in line with sales plans.
  • Be a key contact for analysis and recommendations relating to trade decisions and insights.
  • Meeting planning deadlines to achieve the critical path, WSSI and allocations
  • Ensuring key drivers of the range are represented and sales opportunities are always maximised.
  • Responding to external and unforeseen factors or threats, e.g. emerging trends, unseasonable weather, or competitor activity.
  • Awareness of company best-sellers to maximise sales and ensuring that the product range is always competitive.
  • Planning and execution of promotions and price changes.
  • Support in sharing key regional insights and learnings from trading actions to the wider teams.
  • Liaising with the warehouse and Ops teams to ensure the understanding of expected peaks in trade for planning.
  • Analysis of data using Excel, Google Analytics, ZAP, and Power-BI.
  • Key contributor to weekly trade meetings, presenting analysis and key metrics performance.
  • Continually reviewing the B2C sales plan, and reacting accordingly.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with the retail, sales & marketing and eCommerce teams, seeking new opportunities
  • Continually strategising and suggesting improvements to existing plans.
  • Maintain department stocks in line with sales activity to minimise risks and maximise profit opportunities for each territory.
Profile
  • Proven experience in a fashion merchandising role across both online and store channels
  • Strong knowledge of market trends and seasonal cycles in fashion retail
  • Knowledge of advanced Excel, google analytics or PowerBI would be beneficial
  • An analytical and questioning mentality, with great attention to detail on numbers
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage workload and prioritise based on business impact
  • A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving and calm under pressure
  • Ambitious, highly motivated, inspirational talent capable of both strategic thinking and tactical delivery
  • A dynamic team player with great interpersonal skills
