Job Description

Memcom recruitment has been tasked with finding a Membership Development Executive for a prestigious professional body based in central London. This is a hybrid role and you will be required to come to the office 1 day a week.The main purpose of the role is to support the effective delivery of the membership recruitment, retention and growth strategy of the organisation. To achieve this, you will be required to present the organisation to existing and prospective members, promotingthe benefits and value of the membership that they offer.Some of your key duties will include:

  • Assisting in the communications and marketing of membership to existing and prospective members, for example by sending through newsletters and writing content on the website
  • Enhancing the organisations presence by building on existing relationships to increase both the engagement and recruitment of members
  • Pro-actively seeking opportunities to recruit, and retain members
  • Recording and monitoring the results of recruitment, retention and conversion activities on the database, as well as providing analysis and progress reports
We are looking for an individual with:
  • Excellent customer service skills, and individual who is able to deal with enquiries with tact and diplomacy and that can give accurate advice via telephone, email and in person
  • Experience of giving presentations to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to use email marketing systems such as Dotdigital
  • Exceptional writing and administrative experience
  • Experience working with databases
