Job Description

Maths Teacher

A Maths Teacher is needed in an All Boys Secondary School & Sixth Form in South London.This Maths Teacher role will be part time, 3 days a week. However, full time applicants will still be considered.If appointed as a Maths Teacher, you will be required to teach KS3 to KS5 Maths, in line with the National and School Curriculum. If you dont have experience of teaching A Levels, you will be supported by the department.Standard teacher responsibilities apply to this Maths Teacher position. These include but arent limited to this Maths Teacher position. This includes but isnt limited to; planning lessons, assessing pupils progress and attending team meetings/parents evenings.Rates of pay for this Maths Teacher post will be between £150 to £250 a day, depending on the qualifications and experience of each applicant.The SchoolAn Outstanding Secondary School & Sixth Form for boys.In terms of pupils attainment, the school is in the top 5% nationally.There are over 40 different extracurricular clubs at the school, the vast majority of which are free for all pupils to access. Only Cooking Club and Duke of Edinburgh Award have associated costs.RequirementsYou are encouraged to apply if you are a newly qualified Maths Teacher or experienced Maths Teacher.Applications are also welcome if you are a UK trained Maths Teacher or overseas trained Maths Teacher.However, all applicants must have the following as a must in order to be considered for this position as a Maths Teacher:
  • Right to work in the UK
  • UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • Experience as a Maths Teacher in UK schools
