As a qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), you will play a crucial role in helping our students build a strong foundation in mathematics.Your expertise will empower them to overcome learning barriers and unlock their full potential.Requirements:To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) certification.
  • Proven experience working with students with complex needs and challenging behaviours within a PRU or similar educational setting.
  • A deep understanding of various teaching strategies to accommodate individual learning styles.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills to effectively engage with students and build positive relationships.
  • The ability to create innovative and tailored lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
Responsibilities:As our Maths Teacher, you will:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive maths lessons that foster a love for the subject.
  • Assess and track students progress, providing regular feedback and support.
  • Work closely with the wider team to develop individualised learning plans.
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes positive behaviour and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure a cohesive support system for each student.
