Growth Marketer Job Spec 2023 DRAFTRole: Growth MarketerOrganisationThis organisation provides easy-to-use cloud accounting and payroll software targeted at small businesses and accountants. With an office in Hammersmith, London, the team currently enjoys the flexibilityof working from home.The company is in search of a Growth Marketer to join immediately.The roleAs a proactive and energetic marketer, you will plan and execute marketing campaigns with precision. You will be a team player with a positive attitude, an acute eye for detail, and the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels. In this autonomousrole, you will oversee the end-to-end marketing process and must be highly organised and capable.Reporting directly to the CEO, you will collaborate with the CEO, CFO, and Product Manager to plan and implement marketing campaigns that resonate with the target audience of small/micro-businesses. Youll manage the marketing function within budget to achieveacquisition, upsell, and retention goals. Youll lead projects with a significant degree of autonomy while receiving support from colleagues when needed.Responsibilities include:- Designing and executing creative marketing campaigns to generate inbound leads, convert trial users to paying customers, and upsell to existing customers.- Defining strategy and executing marketing campaigns for new features, products, and partnerships across all channels including in-product displays, email, blog posts, social media, and PR.- Enhancing SEO ranking performance and website traffic by creating SEO-optimised content.- Updating the website with relevant information as needed.- Owning all marketing messaging with strong copywriting skills.- Building positive relationships to promote partnerships effectively.- Managing and optimising paid acquisition campaigns and providing recommendations for CPA improvements.- Ensuring campaign materials are legally compliant and accurately reflect the product.- Setting performance metrics for marketing campaigns, collecting data, and reporting on outcomes.- Becoming an expert on product launches and feature launch tactics.Requirements:- 5+ years of marketing experience with hands-on involvement.- Experience in selling to small businesses, particularly microbusinesses.- Knowledge or understanding of accounting software, financial services, or fintech.- Innovative thinking with a results-driven approach.- Expertise in SEO and PPC with a track record of improving website rankings.- Successful delivery of paid acquisition campaigns.- Proficiency in using a CRM (preferably ActiveCampaign) for email management and data handling.- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively.- Proven success in delivering in-house marketing campaigns.- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.- Strong project management, documentation, and copywriting skills.- Confidence in presenting ideas at senior management or board level.- A collaborative spirit in a hands-on team environment.What we offer:- Competitive salary £40-45k negotiable based on experience.- Opportunity to join a company serving over 10,000 customers with growth ambitions.- A passionate environment open to new ideas.- Energetic, dynamic, and supportive team culture.- Flexible work-from-home arrangements with occasional office visits.- 28 days holiday including bank holidays plus service awards and additional benefits.- Quarterly socials and regular events like games nights and monthly drinks.- Complimentary gym access and barista coffee (office-based perks).
