ACE Cultural Tours and Stapleford Granary are looking for a Marketing Executive to join our team - this is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about educational travel, culture and the arts.About ACE Cultural Tours andStapleford GranaryACE Cultural Tours is a tour operator founded in 1958 specialising in high quality study and cultural tours accompanied by an expert Tour Director. Specialist subject areas regularly covered include history, art, architecture, music (includinga number of festival and opera tours) and natural history. The Company is a subsidiary of the Association for Cultural Exchange, an educational charity which supports cultural activities and operates the award-winning Stapleford Granary arts centre. Over theyears, ACE Cultural Tours has been innovative and creative with its choice of worldwide destinations, appealing to target clients who are generally in the 50 and over age group with a real desire to see new places and learn or improve their knowledge of aspecific topic. The office is based at Stapleford Granary, in beautiful converted farm buildings five miles south of Cambridge city centre.Stapleford Granary, under the leadership of new CEO Kate Romano, is building a reputation for the quality of its culturalprogramme, featuring concerts, exhibitions, music and art courses, lectures and seminars. Whilst rooted in the community, our aim is to deliver innovative content of world-class standards.The RoleThis is an exciting but challenging role, combining creativeand technical skills for someone who is passionate about travel, culture and communication. As part of the Marketing team, you will work on a variety of projects for ACE Cultural Tours and Stapleford Granary to raise awareness of our tours and events.You willwork closely with the Marketing Manager on specific projects to help facilitate the delivery of the marketing strategy and digital marketing initiatives.We are a small team, so you will need to be able to contribute to all aspects of our marketing output fromcreating, editing and writing interesting copy for publications, to helping to develop our public relations and digital content.Main Responsibilities Development - assisting in the growth of ACE Cultural Tours and Stapleford Granary through our respectivemarketing activities. Content creation - production of all forms of digital content and collateral including but not limited to - video, photography, display ads, web banners and digital advertisements. Email marketing - devising email marketing campaignsto promote products to the existing customer database. Brand visibility - driving traffic to our websites and platforms through channels such as content SEO, PPC campaigns, social media and direct mail. Event promotion - assisting with the promotion of StaplefordGranary events. Editorial - editing, researching and writing content for blogs, brochures and press releases. Reporting - reporting on the performance of online campaigns (must be numerate and commercially aware) to inform future marketing decisions. CMS -maintaining and improving content on websites. Advertising campaigns - assisting in the planning, design and application of printed and digital advertising campaigns.Desirable Skills An interest in and/or experience of travel and culture. Experience planningand executing marketing campaigns. Knowledge of online marketing tools such as Google Marketing Platform. Experience with CRM systems. Excellent copywriting and editing skills. Good knowledge of website technologies and software. Excellent understanding ofsocial media platforms. Ability to analyse data and learn new online technologies. Ability to manage simultaneous projects. Enthusiastic, articulate, hardworking with an acute eye for detail. Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.Personal Attributes:Calm, constructive and focused under pressure. Creative and literate. Self motivated, positive and professional. Quick learner willingto develop new skills.Additional InformationThe postholder will benefit from a competitive salary and, after a qualifying period, company contributions into a group pension scheme.. Leave entitlement is 25 days per year plus 8 public holidays for full timestaff, pro-rata for part-time employees. Normal working hours are 0900-1700 Monday-Friday with 30 minutes lunch break and the position is envisaged to be for 5 days/week.
