Job Description

We havean opportunity for a Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team in Tower Hill, London. You will join us on a fulltime,permanent basis. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £45,000-£50,000 per annum + benefits (travel allowance, bonus scheme, pension, health insurance).The Company is the pioneering data centre colocation provider, an owner operator of Tier III data centres, connectivity and managed ICT solutions to over 2000 market leading corporations around the world. In the UK our Docklands data centre campus facilitates the majority of the London Internet Exchange’s (LINX) capacity, meaning that we support a huge proportion of all UK internet traffic, making our Docklands campus a globally important internet hub.Marketing Communications Specialist OverviewYou will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager in the delivery of day-to-day marketing tasks and processes, including implementing and co-ordinating effective communications strategies, managing and raising awareness of the brand, ensuring brand compliance and consistency, as well as the planning and execution of marketing campaigns.Key responsibilities of our Marketing Communications Specialist:- Assisting in the development and delivery of marketing acquisition, retention and brand communications programmes This includes, but is not limited to:- Assisting with UK public and media relations, supplier management and development. Identifying opportunities to increase and improve brand/product awareness, corporate reputation and identity; identify and execute PR opportunities to drive customer acquisition and retention- Assist in marketing plan preparation, including budget and short and long-term strategy- Responsible for planning, executing and reporting on marketing campaigns laid out in the marketing plan, following the direction of the Marketing Manager.- Responsible for successful delivery of the marketing automation strategy, optimisation of the Pardot system including creation of customer journeys, workflows, lead scoring models and campaign structures- Creation of marketing materials including brochures, data sheets, corporate presentations and branded merchandise- Assisting with UK public and media relations, supplier management and development.- Identifying opportunities to increase and improve brand/product awareness, corporate reputation and identity; identify and execute PR opportunities to drive customer acquisition and retention- Ensure brand communication for areas of responsibility are consistent with brand guidelines- Identify and develop brand building areas as well as leverage customer insight data to inform brand direction- Assist with the launch of new products, services and concepts, including undertaking market research to support launch activities- Ensuring marketing campaigns are delivered within budget and that all activities are forecast in line with budget forecast deadlinesWhat we’re looking for in our Marketing Communications Specialist:- Educated to Degree Level standard.- Requires bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or other related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience- A Marketing qualification, preferably a CIM Diploma- Member of the CIM- Requires 5+ years marketing experience, some of which should have been at or in support of B2B Technology Companies- Excellent attention to detail and high personal standards for excellence.- Excellent written and verbal communications skills- Experience in creating, writing and editing content for internal and external distribution; including, newsletters, press releases, articles- Event management and campaign planning experience- Experience managing outside vendors and overseeing the design and production of print materials- Strong PR and media relations experience- Extensive experience in content creation and deliveryIf you feel you have the skills and experience to become our Marketing Communications Specialist then please click ‘Apply’ today!
