Job Description

Marketing Communications ManagerCompetitive salary and excellent benefitsLondon based Hybrid (Office attendance 2-4 times per month)Our client, a SaaS global leader in their industry is looking to recruit a Marketing Communications Manager. This is an exciting role, and we are keen to find someone who is extremely "Hands on" with a "can do" attitude and able to play a pivotal role indriving brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition through strategic communication plans across various channels to promote our clients’ products and services, as well as supporting their new business team.This is a hands-on role working with a defined cost-effective budget. The sales team have senior new business account managers who focus new business and Enterprise accounts. The priority is now to build an effective inside customer success team driven bythe existing user marketing campaign activities.Initially the focus will be on an existing user base campaign to drive inbound leads to promote/ engage /sell additional features (including use of transactional services) to drive and manage the marketing programme of the Group - developing effective collateraland also focussed on new customer acquisition.Key Responsibilities:Strategy Development

  • Collaborate with the new business team to develop comprehensive and effective communication strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer preferences and competitive landscape.
Content Creation
  • Design and create compelling and engaging content across various channels, including website, social media, email campaigns, and press releases.
  • Develop high quality messaging frameworks and brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all communication touchpoints.
Campaign Management
  • Plan and execute creative marketing campaigns to promote product launches, events, and special promotions.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics and analyse results to optimise future initiatives.
Public Relations
  • Build effective relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry partners to generate positive coverage and endorsements.
  • Work closely with Account Managers to develop new case studies to help showcase products.
  • Draft press releases to enhance brand visibility.
Digital Marketing
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of digital marketing assets, including graphics, presentations, videos, and interactive content.
  • Work closely with design team to improve SEO and optimise the performance of company websites.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing agency (external) to optimize social media advertising campaigns.
Customer Engagement
  • Develop and manage tactical marketing campaigns to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Manage customer feedback channels and implement initiatives to address concerns and improve satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with product development, new business, and customer services teams to align communication and marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on messaging and communication best practices.
Skills & Experience
  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications, or another business-related field.
  • Proven experience (3 years +) in marketing communications, preferably in the technology or sports industry.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM software (e.g. HubSpot)
  • Excellent communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the confidence to take a brief and generate effective marketing collateral.
  • Strong project management, multitasking and decision-making skills.
  • Self-driven, great at using your initiative in a fast-paced environment and comfortable working independently.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and analytical skills to deliver results.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
