Job Description

� Job Opportunity: Marketing and Events Officer (Temporary) �Southwark College, a vibrant educational institution, is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Marketing and Events Officer to join our dynamic team. This exciting temporary full-time position offers a chance to contribute significantly to our college community. Role Overview: As a Marketing and Events Officer, you will play a pivotal role in promoting Southwark Colleges brand and enhancing student engagement. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Event Planning and Execution:
    • Organizing and coordinating student recruitment events, such as Open Days, Careers Fairs, and campus tours.
    • Collecting post-event feedback to continuously improve our offerings.
  2. Marketing Support:
    • Assisting with general marketing activities, including copywriting, videography, and photography for events.
    • Contributing to the creation of promotional materials like brochures and flyers.
  3. Database Management:
    • Utilizing internal databases and CRM systems to log relevant event details.
Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate for this role will demonstrate the following:
  • Events and/or Marketing Background: Experience in organizing educational events or related activities.
  • School Environment: Familiarity with working in an educational setting.
  • Availability: Able to work on-site in Southwark, London, five days a week.
