Marketing Account Manager£28,000 - £35,000Full-Time, PermanentRemote based - office location LondonThe CompanyOur client is an ecommerce data science consultancy. They strive to improve the worlds most important endeavour: data-led decision making.Clients include Sony, Currys, Pets Corner and the Conran family.Their work includes discovering and visualising ecommerce trends, modelling, and open-ended research. Often, they turn their models into SaaS applications.They are a small team of 10 but their work has big global impact and their clients trust them to take the initiative and find value in their data. If youre looking for a new challenge with more autonomy and influence, this is a rare ground-floor opportunityat a profitable start-up.The RoleDue to our clients continued growth they are looking for a talented Account Manager to join the team. Previous experience working with data science is not required - they are looking for someone who, with support from the wider team, can help bridge thegap between technical analysis and real-world actions for their clients!You will be pivotal in assisting the Account Director and CEO in retaining and growing the retail account base. Youll join calls and meetings with their clients to share insights and recommendations, and will collaborate with the Data Science team to identifyopportunities and create a coherent delivery plan.Duties include:

  • Representing our client with their clients, and being a friendly and reliable key liaison point
  • Monitoring client projects and managing client accounts: Preparing client project plans / Attend client meetings, present results / Ensuring key client milestones are being set and met / Spotting potential variances to the plan before they become critical/ Active listening for opportunities to develop the account / Preparing monthly client presentations / Monitoring billed and logged project hours vs target/scope / Preparing invoice drafts for approval by AD
  • Checking in on client Google Analytics accounts and sales numbers
  • Support Account Director/Technical Director with project priorities based on client meetings
  • Conduct satisfaction surveys and tech audits to uncover upsell opportunities
  • Quarterly R&D input into our product roadmap
About you:

Skills/Experience:
  • Powerpoint/Keynote
  • Google Analytics
  • 2+ years experience working in a client facing or account management role, e.g. at a communications/digital agency
Desirable understanding of:
  • The world of PPC (Google Ads, Facebook Ads)
  • SEO (an understanding of the basics)
  • Miro
